Description

c.1991 Whizzer Model J

Whizzer was introduced in 1939 by the Breene-Taylor Engineering Corporation, a Los Angeles manufacturer of aircraft parts, who began building engine kits for bicycles. The kit comprised of a 2½ horsepower motor, compression release and throttle and clutch controls to be attached to the handlebars.

After a hiatus of production of 30-odd years, Whizzer U.S.A. re-appeared in 1997 to sell an improved version, pre-assembled on an old Schwinn-style bicycle frame.

The motorcycle offered

This Whizzer Model J, the “Swamp Rat”, was part of a discerning collection of British motorcycles and high-end American muscle cars. On static display for several years, it will need usual recommissioning to return it to regular use.

Sold on a Bill of Sale.
