2017 MV Agusta Brutale 800 Dragster RR

As Motorcycle News put it, “Yes this blinged-up version of the Dragster variant of MV’s 800 Brutale is expensive, but then it’s truly special, too.”

As per MVAgusta.com, “the Dragster is MV Agusta’s most impudent, irreverent model. It has that wild, untamed allure that instantly bewitches any bike lover and makes it a lifestyle statement in its own right.

The bobbed tail, the spoke wheels, the compact yet balanced volumes and weights distributed over the refined chassis are a vivid reminiscence of those epic drag races, interpreted in the most modern and compelling way.

MV Agusta’s legendary inline-3-cylinder engine and the MotoGP-derived counter-rotating crankshaft featured on the Dragster take its performance to unparalleled levels.”

With 140bhp on tap, a chassis the length of a moped and supremely comfortable ergonomics, the Dragster is an awe-inspiring, supremely fun ride.

The motorbike offered

The 2017 MV Agusta Brutale 800 Dragster RR on offer here comes to us from a Northern California collector of diverse two-wheeled machines. He purchased it a little more than a year ago with only 4,764 miles from new and kept it in a climate-controlled environment and used it sparingly. Very sparingly. Now, with only 4,811 miles on the odometer, the bike is available for sale to make room for a classic machine traded with Classic Avenue.

In exquisite condition throughout, the bike runs perfectly. All systems work as they should, and it is a blast to ride. Handling is superfluous and confidence-inspiring, while brakes will keep all the exuberance under control. Light, bright and eager to go, if feels like the motorcycle equivalent of an enthusiastic puppy. And with 140bhp in the right-hand grip, a fast one.
