2017 MV Agusta 800cc Brutale America Edition

In the 1970s, Italian marque MV Agusta built a series of bikes called the America. For 2017, MV brought back the America name with the special edition Brutale 800 America.

As the bumph reads, the Brutale is MV Agusta’s most impudent, irreverent model. It has that wild, untamed allure that instantly bewitches any bike lover and makes it a lifestyle statement in its own right. Not sure about all that, but it’s an absolute blast to ride.

The bobbed tail, the spoke wheels, the compact size of the refined chassis shroud MV’s legendary inline-3-cylinder engine offer performance to unparalleled levels.

With 140bhp on tap, a chassis the length of a moped and supremely comfortable ergonomics, the Brutale is an awe-inspiring, supremely fun ride.

Production of the 2017 Brutale 800 America was limited to just 50 bikes. Each bike will be numbered and includes a framed certificate of authenticity.

The motorbike offered

The 2017 MV Agusta Brutale on offer here, number 22 of 50 built, comes from its original owner, a mature discerning Northern California collector of British and Italian motorcycles. The bike features aftermarket upgrades with heated grips, bar-end mirrors and a tail tidy license plate mount, and is accompanied by the two keys, original MV product documentation, and the OEM battery charger. In excellent condition throughout, and with only 5,560 miles on the odometer, this well serviced example is available for the next custodian.
