2004 Porsche Boxster S 6-speed manual

By 2004, the Boxster was an astonishing seven years old, and already a modern classic. Under constant development, the diminutive mid-engined roadster offered great balance and poise and was capable of punching far above its weight with embarrassing results.

By 2004 the car was more responsive, powerful and handled even better. And it sounded better too. And the ‘S’ was even better than that. The 3.2-liter engine delivers noticeably more thrust than what’s on tap from the 2.7-liter. Though the standard Boxster is no softie, the Boxster S has firmer suspension tuning.

The motorcar offered

The Arctic Silver 2004 Porsche Boxster S on offer here was purchased by our vendor a couple of years ago and was intended to be a “forever” car, but a move to the Hawaiian Islands has forced the sale. With an astonishing odometer reading of less than 20,000 miles from new, the car is offered in exceptional condition throughout. Accident-free with all original paint, scuff-free wheels, all original lighting and glass and an excellent interior all add up to an impressive package. The car has a full service history, stamped in the Maintenance booklet with additional service records from the last two years of ownership for, notably spark plugs and coils, transmission fluid, brake fluid, cam deviations found to be within specification (marked on an invoice), oil filters cut open and inspected 7/2020 and 4/2022 and found to have clean perfect oil.

The car starts easily and drives perfectly and with additional sporty flair with a short-shifter kit. The car was just inspected by famed Porsche specialists, House Automotive, of Encino California and given a clean bill of health.
