1983 BMW 798cc R80ST

BMW’s R80 family was extended for 1982 by the R80RT and R80ST: the former a tourer and the latter a roadster version of the G/S. The G/S had already established its credentials as a fine all-rounder, and the ST was an attempt to further refine the model for road use.

The motorbike offered

This relatively rare member of BMW’s R80 range, a 1983 R80ST, comes from a Southern California collection. In excellent overall condition, the bike shows a believed-to-be-original 35,000 miles. Fresh from service, the bike starts easily and runs perfectly. Only built for two years, the ST is a rarity of the BMW range.
